For more than a decade, this bookish blowout has brought together award-winning writers, academics and the general public for two days of readings that will engage and inspire your creative side. You'll hear experimental poets reading alongside fiction writers and memoirists from all over the country in a fun, laid-back environment at the Scissortail Creative Writing Festival. This year's highhlight is United States Poet Laureate Tracy K. Smith, who give a reading in the Ataloa Theatre.
