Chickasaw Nation Cancellations & Closings

National Sand Bass Festival

This free, week-long festival features food vendors, a carnival and numerous craft booths. Always held the first full week of June, the National Sand Bass Festival ends with free concerts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

This festival attracts 15,000 people each year from all across the United States to the Lake Texoma area. Held in Madill's town square, the festival features numerous activities and plenty of live entertainment. Events include the Sand Bass Run and a three-on-three basketball tournament. Visitors to the Sand Bass Festival will also enjoy turtle races, a car show and talent show, as well as games and competitions for children.

Enjoy live entertainment nightly at this event, with a lineup that includes gospel singing. Come to the National Sand Bass Festival in Madill for live country-Western music featuring top music stars and stick around for the festival's other fun festivities.
