ARTesian Gallery & Studios

First American heritage is rich with art in all mediums which is why The ARTesian Gallery and Studios, located in the heart of downtown Sulphur, Oklahoma, is a great stop to learn and appreciate First American culture through fine art.

Designed to assist and promote Chickasaw and other First American artists, the 7,400 square-foot facility also houses up to five separate studio spaces, available for artists to rent. The gallery area provides an excellent venue for artists to display and market their work. The retail shop carries supplies for creating all types of art, from high-quality paint brushes and watercolors to crayons and coloring books. Traditional and contemporary jewelry, books, music and more created by Chickasaw and First American artists are also available in the retail shop.

The ARTesian Gallery and Studios offers art classes for all levels, from beginning artists to professional artists. Some of the art classes include “make and take” classes and specifically designed classes for visitors to the area. The ARTesian is conveniently located near other attractions in the area such as the Chickasaw Cultural Center, Chickasaw National Recreation Area, Chickasaw Visitor Center and the Chokma'si Sculpture Park.
