The Clubhouse

Located in Ardmore Regional Park, The Clubhouse is a family-friendly entertainment center featuring an arcade and café indoors, and a variety of activities outdoors. The arcade has all your favorite games from basketball and skee-ball to racing games, claw games and more. And if you want to brave the colder weather, head outdoors for go-kart racing, the zip line, challenge course and miniature golf.

Toy & Action Figure Museum

The Toy & Action Figure Museum in Pauls Valley is a must-visit attraction. Home to thousands of action figures and toys, this museum truly transports you back to your childhood. With special sections highlighting specific collections, you are always sure to find something new and improved. The sections rotate throughout the year and have included Star Wars, Batman, G.I. Joe, Barbie and the Simpsons. Search the thousands of figures which cover every inch of the “collector’s bedroom” to find your childhood favorite.

AdventureScape Escape Rooms

Choose your own adventure at AdventureScape in Chickasha. The interactive escape rooms include four themes, including Valley of the Kings, Nightmare in Whitechapel, Sorcerer’s Secret and Mystery at the Manor. Activities last from 30 minutes to one hour with varying levels of difficulty.

The Chisholm Trail Heritage Center in Duncan is filled with interactive areas, static displays and one of the best art galleries in Chickasaw Country! Learn about the Chisholm Trail and the life of a cowboy in the Campfire Theater. Experience a cattle stampede from the comfort of your chair in the T.H. McCasland, Jr. Experience Theater. Visit the Duncan General Store, rope a longhorn steer, create your own brand and more throughout the museum. Then head to the Garis Gallery of the American West, the home to one of the largest collections of western and Native American art in the West.

*Take time to grab a souvenir from the gift shop and capture a memorable photo in front of the “On the Chisholm Trail” Bronze in front of the museum.

Travertine Nature Center

Make the Travertine Nature Center your first stop at the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Not only can you grab brochures and maps of the Recreation Area, but you learn about the history of the park and the nature you will find there. Browse displays of the animals common in the area and learn why there is a bison herd on the park. And the best part is this is all in an enclosed building to keep you out of the elements.

*Too cold for a hike or swim? The Chickasaw National Recreation Area is a beautiful place for a warm, cozy drive in your car. Grab a warm drink and head out to explore the Arbuckle Mountain area.

Chickasaw Council House Museum

The Chickasaw Council House Museum, located on the Capitol Square in Tishomingo, holds one of the largest collections of Chickasaw art, artifacts and archive materials. In the center of the room when you walk through the front door, you will find the first Chickasaw Council House built in Indian Territory, surrounded by artifacts and displays highlighting traditional foods, music, dance and artwork. As you continue through the museum, learn about a few Chickasaw citizens and how they contributed to the tribe and our world.
