It’s that time of year where families start making their way through Chickasaw Country to celebrate the holidays with relatives. With this in mind, we compiled a holiday event guide showcasing a few celebrations happening along the way so you are able to make a quick, enjoyable stop and still make it home in time for holiday family fun!

  • Ardmore Festival of Lights

    Ardmore, Oklahoma

    This 1.5-mile drive through endless, vibrant Christmas lights is one of the largest holiday light displays in southern Oklahoma. Come to the Ardmore Festival of Lights to see more than 150 animated displays in a beautiful winter wonderland. The Ardmore Festival of Lights will delight visitors of all ages and is quickly becoming one of the most popular light displays in the state of Oklahoma. Make your way to Ardmore Regional Park, tune your car stereo to a favorite Christmas music station and meander through rows and rows of lights as holiday cheer comes to life.

    Chickasha Festival of Light

    Chickasha, Oklahoma

    The Chickasha Festival of Light has been recognized as one of the top ten holiday light shows in the nation and features over 3.5 million twinkling lights!

    Drive through Shannon Springs Park in your car and gaze in wonder at more than a hundred dazzling light scenes, animated displays and even a computer animated light show synchronized to favorite holiday tunes. Stop by one of the many food trucks to enjoy a treat as you traverse the park. The centerpiece of the Chickasha Festival of Light is the iconic 172-ft Christmas tree that can be seen for miles around and the newly added ice skating rink! The rink will open on Festival opening night. 

    Pauls Valley Christmas Parade of Lights

    Pauls Valley, Oklahoma

    Get in the holiday spirit and head to downtown Pauls Valley for the annual Christmas Parade of Lights. Visitors to this annual parade will enjoy a wide variety of decorated floats, marching bands, carolers and more. 

    During the evening you can also enjoy lights at the train depot. Make a new tradition by bringing the entire family out to this festive parade, and celebrate the magic of the holiday season.

    Purcell's Lights From the Heart

    Purcell, Oklahoma

    Take a drive around Purcell Lake and create holiday memories as you see over 190 animated displays featuring over 650,000 lights! With over two miles of lights, this holiday light display is a must see! The lighted drive will be open nightly at 5:30 and kettle corn can be purchased at the gate. There is no admission fee, but donations are greatly appreciated! Bring your cameras, there are Selfies with Santa on Friday and Saturday nights! Come see the lights from Thanksgiving Eve to New Year's Eve!

    Trail of Lights in Wintersmith Park

    Ada, Oklahoma

    Get in the holiday spirit and join us at the Trail of Lights!

    Wintersmith Park in Ada decorates for the season with a beautifully lit holiday light trail throughout the park. Take drive or walk through the bright light displays that fill the park with holiday cheer. 

    Christmas Lights at The Capitol

    Tishomingo, Oklahoma

    Come see the unique Christmas Lights at the Chickasaw Nation Capitol in Tishomingo, Oklahoma! Turn on some Christmas tunes as you drive around the historic Chickasaw Nation Capitol and view the light display which features traditional holiday lights as well as cultural and historical lights. 

    Celebration of Lights at the Chickasaw Cultural Center

    Sulphur, Oklahoma

    Embrace the holiday season with a spectacular drive-thru light display at the Chickasaw Cultural Center’s Celebration of Lights. Although the campus remains closed to the public, we invite you to drive through and enjoy the light display. Our light extravaganza features dozens of displays with traditional Christmas themes, as well as our own unique cultural additions. Please stay in your car and follow the signs along the specified route.
