Native American Heritage Day

Join us at the Chickasaw Cultural Center in Sulphur, Oklahoma for a celebration of Native American heritage as we honor the traditions and contributions of all Native people. 

Enjoy music from bands, multi-tribal singing group exhibitions and storytelling at the Taloowa Music Fair in the Kochcha' Aabiniili' Amphitheater. 

Visit the Chikasha Inchokka' Traditional Village for an array of cultural demonstrations and indigenous food samples including three sisters stew, grape dumplings, banaha, and blue bread among other traditional foods. Harvest fresh produce from the Spiral Garden and take home a mix of plants, courtesy of the horticulture department.

Participate in make-and-take crafts such as corn bracelets and leather gorges, visit the pumpkin patch for a free pumpkin and shop 10% discounts on select retail in the Aachompa' Gift Shops.
