AdaFest Music and Film Festival

Get ready for AdaFest 2019!

AdaFest is a two-day-long community music, arts and film festival presented by Ada Nissan and The Chickasaw Nation in downtown Ada, Oklahoma! During the festival, several stages will be set up throughout the community and patrons can venture over to the Main Stage to see this year’s musical headliner, The Nixons! Additionally, other local acts and traveling musicians perform in front of the Grandview Stage. Visitors are also encouraged to explore the Ada Arts District for additional stages, food trucks, artist booths and children activities. 

Friday primarily revolves around the films of the festival. The films will be played at the East Central University’s Estep Center. This year’s films are as follows:

  • 5 p.m. - Trolls
  • 5:20 p.m. - Play It Loud episode
  • 6 p.m. - Lazy Circles: Welcome to Goshe
  • 6:45 p.m. - The Grave
  • 7:15 p.m. - Prone to Violence
  • 7:30 p.m. - Arrows of Outrageous Fortune
  • 9 p.m. - The Unusual (Calling of) Charlie Christmas

Saturday is they day of music at AdaFest! There will be live music, retail and nonprofit vendors, kids’ activities, a corn hole tournament and more taking place on Main Street from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Artisan vendors, food trucks, a beer garden and more activities for kids and families will start in the East Central University’s Centennial Plaza beginning 4:30 p.m. Main Stage music acts will take place as follows:

  • Isaac McClung - 5 p.m.
  • Conflict of Interest - 6 p.m.
  • Oberon - 7 p.m.
  • The Nixons - 8:15 to 10 p.m.

Additional live music will be taking place at Hot Shots, Vintage 22 and The Lot in Ada Arts District beginning at 4:30 p.m.

A dance party will start immediately following the headlining band, The Nixons around 10 p.m. The part will include: Bass Lord Mother Mother, DJ Bifurious, DJ Yachtsman and a light show by Nicholas Isom!
