Runs and Rides throughout Chickasaw Country!

Whether you like to run or ride, Chickasaw Country offers the perfect conditions and environment for running and riding in south-central Oklahoma. From early morning bike tours to late-night neon color runs, South-central Oklahoma seasons are filled with action-packed adventures. Lace up your shoes and get ready to walk, run or ride anytime from sunny summer days to brisk autumn afternoons in Chickasaw Country!

  • Stampede the Trail 5K & Marathon (June)

    Duncan, OK

    Kid's marathoners will receive a t-shirt and participant medal with their registration. One adult is allowed to participate FREE with the child. If adult would like t-shirt and medal, they must register. When you register for the Kid's marathon, a Mileage Log Sheet will be emailed to you!

    Stevy's Run (July)

    Tishomingo, Oklahoma

    Stevy Lyn Cellum was a young woman whose strength, courage, and faith inspired an entire community and all who knew her. Individuals run in her memory, raising money for charities selected by Stevy and her family. There will be a 10K, 5K, and a 1 mile fun run! Prizes will be awarded immediately following the race and there will be activities while you wait! 

    Run, Ride, Row Johnston County (October)

    Tishomingo, OK

    Come and participate in this 3 day event through beautiful Johnston County, Oklahoma. The bike ride has routes of approximately 10, 20, 50 or even 100 miles. Enjoy a great ride through stunning scenery on well-paved country roads. Come for either a relaxing ride, a competitive run or scenic row through Johnston County. 

    Hills of Oklahoma Bike Tour (November)

    Davis, OK

    Starting in Davis, Oklahoma, the Hills of Oklahoma Bike Tour is an event that challenges the avid cyclist and takes them on a scenic, yet hilly ride through the Arbuckles. The H.O.O.T. features 4 different routes: 13, 30, 50 and 64 miles long. The H.O.O.T. committee works to include local businesses in celebration not only for the cyclists who cross the finish line, but also for tourists and the residents of our community. Come join the fun and experience the most scenic, yet challenging bike tour in southern Oklahoma and northern Texas! 

    Chigger Chase (November)

    Ardmore, Oklahoma

    Come celebrate the holiday season and join us for the Annual Chigger Chase Holiday Run in Ardmore, Oklahoma! The 1 Mile & 5K will navigate runners through the beautiful Christmas lights of Ardmore Regional Park. There will also be a children's 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile run as well as a mascot run available for all school and business mascots. Awards will be given for the children's runs and 5K. Watch out for the speedy chigger, Charlie! Participants of the 5K who beat Charlie will receive a special prize!

    Annual Tacky Sweater Run (December)

    Purcell, OK

    Come join the fun and run off those extra Thanksgiving calories at Pruitt Quality Homes' Annual Tacky Sweater 5K and 1-mile fun run! Throw on your ugliest Christmas sweater and join us at Purcell Lake for this evening charity race. In addition to the run, there will be games and face painting for everyone prior to the race as well as a prize for the ugliest sweater!
