Chickasaw Country is home to many scenic and beautiful landmarks, including the Chickasaw National Recreation Area, Turner Falls, Arbuckle Mountains, Crossbar Ranch, Lake Murray State Park and the Texoma Lake region. Each is a photographer’s dream, not to mention a wonderful playground for water sports, hiking, biking and fishing.

Dress depends on the time of year you will be visiting. Keep in mind that it does occasionally rain and snow in Oklahoma. Be sure to check the weather before you visit. Remember it's a good idea to wear comfortable shoes. Pack cool, casual, comfortable resort and leisure wear during the warmer months. Also, be sure to pack a jacket or coat during the cooler months. Sunglasses are always good to pack as well. Overexposure from the sun can happen quickly, sunscreen is strongly recommended.
