Head out to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area where there will be activities galore for National Park Week. Don't miss a fun filled day including hikes and different ranger programs. During National Park Week, special presentations will be offered at the Travertine Nature Center for all. All activities and programs are FREE and family-friendly! "Upcycled Birdfeeders" Junior Ranger recycling make-and-take activity - April 21 - 2:00 p.m. at Travertine Nature Center
"Monarch Butterfly" table setup - April 24 - 10:00 to 2:00 at Travertine Nature Center
"Bow Making" table setup - April 25 - 10:00 to 2:00 - at Travertine Nature Center
The lecture for the National Park Week is titled: Common Wildflowers of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Presenter will be Bailey Anderegg. It will take place at 1 pm on Thursday, April 26, 2018 in the Anoli Theater.
