It feels like Christmas morning! I’ve been counting down the days for months, and now the grand opening is only days away at Ole Red in Tishomingo! If you’re itchin’ to have a little fun, you need to plan a trip to Tishomingo pronto!
Ole Red has a restaurant, live music venue and retail space. The restaurant has anything and everything, from burgers to chicken and waffles, to rib eyes and more. I’ve heard the Charm Marshmallow Cookies are incredible, which makes my mouth water just thinking about all the options!
On Friday, Sept. 29, Blake Shelton is preforming a private concert on the Ole Red stage. The concert is already sold out, but don’t worry, there is another concert planned for Saturday, Sept. 30!
When Saturday rolls around, be sure to arrive to Ole Red by 5 p.m.! The Blake and Friends concert will begin at 7 p.m. at an outdoor stage with RaeLynn, Jeannie Seely, John Conlee, Ronnie Milsap! And guess what? No ticket required! I can’t wait to spend the evening listening to good ole country music on the streets of Tishomingo.
Get to Tishomingo a little early on Saturday and explore all the town has to offer. My must-see stops in Tishomingo are: the Chickasaw National Capital Building and the Chickasaw Nation Information Center where you can learn about the history of the Chickasaw people. I always shop when in Tishomingo, you can’t take a trip there and not stop at Murray on Main and Baker’s Mercantile! After all that shopping and exploring, take a rest and catch a movie at the Indie Cinema or grab a cup of joe at the Latté Da Coffee House.
I can’t wait to meet all of you as we celebrate Ole Red and the town of Tishomingo! I’ll be the one asking for Blake’s autograph…
